Your side of the story:

Lilly Trilby and I were discussing in development discussion about the issues of development on Citadel station. During such conversation, I brought up a discussion Izzy and I had that involved them mentioning banning me from discord for maliciousness based on two things:

- A joke post I made on reddit about how admins force secret all the time because they want to train terrorists to be more robust.
- How I wasn't making PRs properly, according to Izzy.

What ensured was a 3 hour conversation that was incredibly disingenuous on Izzy's part. What I thought was me defending myself and explaining, "No, I deeply care about citadel and wish to see it improved." was Izzy trying to get me to make PRs in the way that they like, despite not contacting other developers about their proposed method or doing any sort of preliminary research on their method. Their method of the development process was unrealistic and extremely unreasonable and I explained this to them during the conversation yet they seemed to ignore me. I brought that up in the discussion with Lilly Trilby and others and they agreed with me that Izzy was being unreasonable and that they need to really change their thinking with respect to development.

Geemiesif informed me shortly after that I would be banned from discord for constant shit stirring. After contacting them, they told me that it was a permanent ban that was done with an unofficial vote in which they cannot tell me the amount of people who voted. They then blocked me before I could gather any other information.

Why you think you should be unbanned:

I don't think the ban in question was just in any sort of way. I wasn't shit flinging, doing direct callouts, or being rude about it. I was being incredibly sincere and discussing the issues of the current administration that seriously inhibited a contributor's ability to improve the server, such as removing player polls without much consultation, and removing bug reporting without much consultation. My points were summed up as "Admins don't understand development." and I think that and the fact that I brought up an admin conversation annoyed a lot of the other admins apparently.

I say apparently because I don't know. The ban was apparently implemented by multiple people via an unofficial vote so there is no person I can really go to for information. I went to Geemiesif for information but they blocked me after telling me the bare basics. I went to Blackmajor for information but I think I wasted his time talking about unfair the ban was instead of actually getting information which was a fault in my part.

I deeply care about development which is why I currently am spending 200+ hours on a new map for Citadel. This isn't me saying "Unban me, I code." but to tell people that I'm not here to be malicious but to improve the server. Currently, as it stands, I have 0 bans on both servers and I think 1 note on main for powergamy behavior so I'm not a malicious person. I received a nsfw ban about a week ago for starting an argument about porn and was given the same silent treatment by admins who refused to give me any information or discussion on it, and it was later revoked by another admin. I was allowed to use nsfw back but because I respect the admins as well as myself, I have not used nsfw since. The same applies to Izzy's conversation; I did not completely ignore their conversation like a brick wall and decided to listen to some of their advice and stop making balance PRs.
