Appeal Reason: I was banned for getting access from the open HoP office which still had the ID in the console and using that to gear up at the armory with the intention of using that gear to survive the battle royale when the shuttle docked at CC. In the moment I was very upset and taken back that I had received the ban because I viewed this as an RP issue but in hindsight I can see how it was indeed powergaming. I apologize for my behavior I just didn't know it would matter so much considering it was end-of-the-shift but in the future I will refrain from taking such action even if it is the end of the shift. The only two instances I used the gear were tasering the warden who chased me out of the armory and throwing a flashbang out from my hiding place in the confession booth. Although the admins believed that my flashbang was meant to just stun everyone outside I only threw it because the door to the booth was opened and I thought security was about to come in and gank me. I had the flashbang in my hand waiting incase they did discover me there already so I just threw it right when the door opened in a defensive measure. Considering this is my first ban on this server and that I never used the gear to go harm or murderbone anyone I would enjoy if my ban was repealed for at least cut down significantly from it's 7 day length. I apologize for my powergaming behavior and immediate lashback of the ban via Discord. In hindsight was immature in handling it and would appreciate it greatly if you guys accepted my apology and reconsidered the ban. Thank you for your consideration.

You wrote this about five hours before the appeal.

I don't really view that as powergaming on a non high-rp server. I know damn well I've seen greytide do a lot more robust things than that on citadel and never get banned or talked to and left as an "rp-issue" which is what I feel like my actions were an rp issue. I wasn't going about harming everyone and causing trouble I was just hoarding the gear til the end of the round for the CC battle-royale. I've seen some hard grey-tiding that never got stopped on Citadel so I just really don't see why I deserved that ban. The only reason I threw that flashbang is because someone opened the confessin door and I thought IT was about to be ganked by Securityy.

Do you still stand by these statements and if not, how have you reconsidered them and why.
