About slime and jelly people...

I was wondering why some adjustments were done, and got stupid-depressed for a bit, but that seems to have worn off. I guess I just miss their link to slimes, like the /tg/ wiki says:
Benefits
I never did much of anything with slime jelly anywhere (except for maybe try to make jelly donuts and look for other slime-related recipes), but having it gone feels sorta depressing somehow. I've definitely noticed that regular slimes attack me like anyone else though, and I guess needing to eat more and being able to live off pure sugar is also no longer a thing... though I haven't tested using antitoxin.
...So I guess Citadel's slimepeople are actually more or less humans with different sprites?
On a related note, what about people who are turned into slimepeople through green extract? Do they retain any of /tg/'s pros and cons so there's a point to using it?
Benefits
- Full immunity from the wrath of hungry slimes.
- Toxic blood that can poison others if ingested.
- Immunity to bleeding out.
- Take reduced damage from heat, fire, and laser weaponry
- Can split themselves to create spare bodies.
- More vulnerable to turning into nonhumanoid slimes.
- Large hunger from jelly production.
- Can be "drained" to death by removing their jelly manually or "cleansed" to death with drugs that treat toxin damage.
- Take double damage from sources of cold
