How long have you played on Citadel?: Since the 1st of January. (8 Months, give or take.)
How long have you played SS13?: On and off on various codebases, i'd say roughly eight years.
What is your timezone/general hours of activity?: UTC-05:00, Whenever i have time. From 4 PM to 12.
Previous SS13 related admin experience: Hosted my own (TG-Related) server with some 20+ Population for Six months.
Previous non-SS13 related admin experience: Was an admin for a couple Team Fortress 2 Servers, a Garry's Mod Server, and moderator for something of an old "Gaming Clan".
Current administrators who have agreed to support your application: N/A
Reason for application: Quite a few people seem to be putting their name in, at the moment. So I figured, why not give it a shot. While i may not have much, if any, experience as an admin on SS13 Servers, i do wish to have the opportunity to help, specifically in regards to the RP Server, as that is where i spend most of my time. But i am willing to administrate on both servers if necessary.


1. How would you engage with two players having an out of character altercation?
Depends on the context, and the situation. If you mean an OOC/LOOC argument;  Give it a chance to quiet down, failing that. Ask them politely to stop. Try to be reasonable with them, and only hand out temporary mutes if necessary. Afterwards, i would likely monitor the situation and ensure none of it results in "grudge" actions, and add/update notes if anyone makes mention of intention to grudge the other.

What i can and could do kind of depends on the medium used, though. I find this question to be a bit vague, and if i were to really delve into it... I'd probably be getting into semantics.

2. What should an admin do if they're involved in a situation that needs admin intervention?
Under very limited (and extremely unlikely) circumstances should the admin handle such a situation, themselves. Circumstances such as there being nobody else available, and it being a quite an emergency, in which case, they should only do so as a last resort. If pinging staff on Discord fails, and there are no Admins online, as otherwise it may prove difficult to remain impartial, and is generally unprofessional to do. but in either case/short. They should admin-help the situation, as a player would.

3. How should an admin determine in what way to punish someone who breaks the rules?
I'd say it would depend on the severity of the offense, the specific rule broken, and how it has affected players. The individual's notes should be examined and taken into consideration, if applicable, when deciding upon the punishment. If necessary, they should discuss the situation with another admin, in order to ensure a reasonable, and fair, punishment.

4. Under what conditions should an admin de-admin themselves while playing?
Anytime the Admin is actively playing ICly, while other, non-afk admins are present, or in circumstances where they could gain an unfair advantage over others by remaining adminned.

5. What is expected of an admin on Citadel?
They should serve their community and it's player-base to the best of their abilities, communicate with fellow staff, Be respectful, fair, and willing to listen to the community they volunteered to moderate for. And act to ensure the rules are followed, in hopes of creating a fun and enjoyable environment for the players.

For 4, it's not just other admins one should be concerned about when it comes to potentially gaining an unfair advantage - you've got the regular playerbase to consider too.
But other than that, I'd say you've got my support.

I like your answers, and my interactions with you have been mostly positive. I've seen you take stuff a tad personally and wait too long before walking away, but I think we've all done that.

Have not personally seen a whole lot of you myself, so I'm on the fence under the condition of not really knowing you, but Dinomin seems to approve so you got that going for you.
