Job/Races you are applying for: e.g. Xenochimera

Name of the character you intend to be using (makes it easier for us to recognise and log): Samoa

In the case of applying for a species, give us a brief summary of your character's backstory. This should give us an idea that you understand the lore of the species: (apologies for length!)
The first recorded instance of Samoa was on a satellite dedicated to xenobiological research orbiting a fairly small planet, kept in an undersized containment cell after a small group of 6 lucky scientists had obtained the specimen through most likely shady means. It was in a most basic of forms unable to do much inside the tiny enclosure until an anomalous power failure one night on the satellite sent the test monkeys into fright. With limited power and the crew just being asleep the monkey escaped the small testing area wreaking havoc in the lab as pissed off lab monkeys do, eventually Samoa was able to make an escape from the cell, easily devouring a Monkey to take as an initial host now easily taking on a baseline form of the creature it disposed of of the rest of the test monkeys along with any other life forms it could see in the limited visibility of the darkened lab before scampering into the vents. Once the power was restored and the crew had awakened they noticed to be one short. It went on like this for a while with crew being picked off one by one until the satellite remained vacant with Samoa as a total amalgamation exploring the fairly enclosed space, raiding the food rations. Essentially living a very pointless minimalist life until a meteorite storm impacted the satellite, heavily damaging the inside and sending it on a crash course into the planets atmosphere. Crashing outside a small cave with Samoa hardly surviving, mostly thanks to the regenerative properties.

Samoa while in a more human form would hunt the wildlife surrounding the cave using various adaption they'd find fitting. They used the cave in question as a mock home, after spending time on this isolated island eating various feral animals and surviving quite well a nanotrasen exploration team noticed a very feint signal on the island after entering the atmosphere. After locating the wreckage nearly nothing could be salvaged until they found Samoa not far by. While not outright as aggressive on contact with humans before Samoa remained stand offish protecting their territory though armed for anything the team was easily able to subdue them non-lethally and bring them in for testing. Once in a more controlled environment with a more suitable enclosure Samoa was subject to a variety of tests slowly adapting themself to a new situation. Samoa was taught rather basic skills in agriculture as well as cooking to see how they'd adapt to such concepts, while it was  also notable that the Samoa was able to point out various ores from a spread sheet recognizing a small amount of them from the cave they'd subsided in. Samoa seemed to have a trait in which they'd seemingly randomly grow attached to various subjects, objects, concepts. Once reminded of the various minerals as well as the monkeys fed to them from monkey cubes they'd seemingly grown a temporary strange obsession with both mining and monkeys. This lead to a comfortable push towards a career path in services as well as cargo once Samoa was fit to work safely among  crew members. After undergoing necessary workplace training they'd be set for further research on station as is more standard policy for nanotrasen's xenochimera to be observed further in the workplace.

Summarize the species. As evidence that you've looked into it: (essentially copied this explanation from my approved xenochimera app over on V.O.R.E.) Xenochimera are similar to an ant colony, multiple microscopic organisms not acting as multiple beings but more as a hivemind colony, with the initial soul purpose of consuming and surviving. While baseline they aren't all that smart after consuming something with a more complex nervous system (while still acting as a colony) new understanding comes to the creature. Though this won't make them perfect functioning members of a society, far from it, they are still prone to more animistic tendencies and survival instinct. They take different traits from what they consume that they may find beneficial to themselves, mixing different parts of various creatures (hence the name chimera). Xenochimera are also very commonly known for an infamous feral state. While the actual feral state is really just that, an animal in an out of place situation. It's NOT a killing machine and is simply reverting to more animalistic survival instincts once under a certain amount of stress whether form over stimulation, hunger, pain.

In the case of applying for Mime/Clown, what are you intending to do to make them distinct and enjoyable: N/A

What do you expect to happen if you use this race/job to violate any of the server rules?: Whitelist removal/Appropriate ban depending on the scenario.

I'll give this one a +1, your character on RP is an interesting case, but I'll give benefit of the doubt that it's all character based.
Regardless, this shows you have a good idea of how the race works, so I'm ultimately okay with it.
