Ban Reason: No specific one, but I can guess.

Your side of the story: Following a heated discussion (one of many started by me in not a long period of time), I was booted from the Discord. I was not given a specific reason, but I can imagine it's in response to my poor behavior and hostile attitude over the past few weeks in particular.

Why you think you should be unbanned: I've spent the last seven days reflecting on what got me here and what, if any, benefit there was to counter-balance it. It's become very clear that SS13 development is not an avenue to happiness for me. In the past, I've justified my hostile attitude and poor behavior as 'passion for the game', and I realize now that me being passionate is not an excuse in any form for the way I've spoken to and treated others, and that it's hypocritical of me to feel that my passion is justification to wear out and essentially punish the passion of others who donate their time and effort to the server, be they developers, contributors, or administrators.

I'd like to be part of the community again, though I do not wish to be part of the development side any further, and to keep my nose out of administrative matters in staff-forum. I think it's best both for myself and others that I not contribute until I can learn to do so in a more constructive manner. My poor behavior has always been tied to ongoing development; updates I dislike, developers I disagree with, and on occasion, administrators with whom I find fault, and not individuals who are part of the general community. I have many friends in the community, and being separated from them has brought further into focus the value I hold Citadel in, regardless of my disagreements with how the game is developed.

I apologize to those who I've hurt or upset with my words or actions, specifically to Bhijn, who has suffered the bulk of my displeasure over the year and a half he's been maintainer. I don't want to be that angry person any longer. You deserve better, and I want to be better.

This is a very well thought out appeal. When you DM'd me after your ban, I thought to myself that I would not be in favor of an unban unless you specifically apologized to Bhijn. I think you've done a good job of that and more by specifically touching upon most of the things that got you to this point. With that in mind, I'm very much in favor of an unban, as long as nothing similar ever happens again.

Sure it's a well thought out appeal to some of the points raised against you. However, I don't see anything addressing one of the bigger claims you made in your last few days on the discord, that being the claim of me making up stuff to enforce, and despite numerous proddings, failing to provide any proof. So, I 'unno, I'm still not super sold on you being let back in but hey. If others see it fit go wild. I don't quite believe you've been gone long enough for a complete 180 in attitude, personally.

Redtail: I very vaguely recall something about Security policy, but nothing specific at this point. I just remember how reading what you said made me feel, but not actually what was said, which makes it fairly obvious I shouldn't be bringing it up at all.

I am not saying that I have changed drastically, only that I am more aware of what effect I've had on people, and that I will avoid the things that trigger that negative behavior--namely, getting into arguments over server development an administration, while I make an effort to change.

With Vincent's backing, I'm gonna go ahead and approve this. Just stay out of arguments from now on, please.
