Reason PK'd: Attempted mutiny. Character was PK'd rather than a ban applied, because, according to BlackMajor:

Length PK'd: Permanent. Sorta self-explanatory there. This format doesn't really work for PK's, I guess.

Appeal Reason:

When Dallas was PK'd, I was told to wait a few months by BlackMajor for this to all blow over. I spent that time away from batons to kinda curb the shitcurity mentality, playing Medbay staff and Engineers, and slightly-less problematic characters than Dallas. It's been five months since the PK was applied and, frankly, I'm kinda bored playing characters that aren't the one I sank so much time and effort into.

I would prefer to bring her back away from Security, at least temporarily for a few months, because I still don't think I have the patience for it anymore. This would also be a good in-character explanation as a way to pay off debt to NT, doing more dangerous work that's lucrative to the company like mining and exploration, to pay off the prosthetics she no doubt needs on account of being yeeted by a pulse pistol.

I think the hardest part here would be the IC justifications for somebody showing up after the execution, although that being said, it has been five months and things can be explained away IC. Dallas wasn't a terrible character and it'd probably be nice seeing them around some more. This all being said, I think executions are pretty much always a terrible way of dealing with things. It really doesn't make sense for 99.9% of scenarios, even this one. No trials or anything for the permanent death of somebody.

I honestly fail to see how a character would ever be allowed to work for NT again after an attempted mutiny, which is not only illegal on NT facilities, but in Solgov space as a whole. What characters have you been playing since then?

Who in their right mind would pull a weapon on the CCO and threaten them after attempting a mutiny on the HoS? In other words, what I'm getting at is that Nanotrasen wouldn't waste funds being the ones to make sure Dallas lived after getting executed. Not to mention, even if Dallas did get resleeved posthumously by a third party, why the fuck would Nanotrasen hire them back after they pulled a stunt like that?

Personally, PKs should only be overturned if 1. the player has been good enough to deserve it being overturned, and has proven to be able to play in a way that isn't outright detrimental (So I guess like most bans to an extent) and 2. the player will *change the character that was PK'd in a way that will prevent further issues*.
Justify reintroductions ICly all you want but if it isn't changed it'll result in the same things, or worse, again if you play it how it was before.

If both of those are met I'd throw in my support.
