Admin Complaint - Jade Manique - Discord

Date of issue and round ID: August 29, 2018. No Round ID.

Reason for complaint: Simply put, his apathy, and apparent disinterest in handling situation in a timely or fairly manner.

For context, A Shadekin was spawned. This Shadekin was hunted by Security, which intended to Capture it. This somehow wound up becoming a debate on Discord, which i missed most of; of whether or not security hunting a Shadekin is "Validhunting". People had conflicting views, with one side believing it is not, and one side believing it is. Regardless, an admin ruling was made. (My personal opinion being that i don't see why it would be, as an admin specifically stated they were created for the purpose of giving science something to do, yet was nowhere near science and was roaming around the station, attempting to evade capture. The player claimed he had vored someone yet simultaneously claimed it did not and that it "did not do anything". Blatantly lying, but i digress. Conflicting statements and buzzwords were being thrown all around, by both parties of the discussion.)

Another user, AmatsuDF#5329. Seemed to be adding little more to the discussion, aside of mini-modding, spreading false info, harassing specific players, calling for permabans of players/security, and trying to tell admins to suppress the discussion.Personally, i partook very little in this. Was it rude? Yes. Should i have not said such things? Yes, and i generally do not. However, in this case. I was frustrated over this individual user's behavior. And simply put, stopped giving a shit. This is the Internet. As unsympathetic as this may sound, if you can't handle being called a retard, and bitch. Once. You should probably look elsewhere. But this person is not really who the complaint is about, this complaint is about Jade Manique. Who "Chat-Banned" me. Their punishment was handed some half hour after the situation had died down, and was effectively no longer an issue. Do i think it was deserved? Eh, yeah i suppose. Even if i feel it's late and kind of moot by that point. I understand that this is not a drive-through service and do not particularly expect Admins to be on-point.

The thing about this that peeved me, was their conduct during our personal discussion of the matter. Personally, they seemed jaded, and unwilling to consider opposing points of view. Or even discuss the situation in a professional, friendly manner. Which, i personally think is unbecoming of an Admin. I apologize for the formatting and general lack of direction of this "Complaint". Really, i'd consider it more something of a "Report"? I do feel that i was incorrect in my behavior, to some extent. But i do not believe this is how an Admin should conduct themselves, either. As they seemed biased, and seemingly singled me out. I could not find a more appropriate location to put this, and was told specifically to bring it to the forums. And being that this occurred largely on Discord, i was not quite sure of how to bring it up.

It is entirely possible that i am in the wrong, here. However. I just felt that this instance would probably be something that should be documented, given Jade's behavior in the past...
