Admin Complaint About Handling Admins

Hello everyone I am really upset to bring this up but I feel it has to deal with a impact on the community as a whole. Why is it that administrators can get away with doing things that the player base cannot do without getting banned or even so much as in trouble?

I have seen that admins have proven cases of baiting players which if a normal person did they would get in a lot of trouble but because an admin sits here and does it they do not even get a spank?

Why is it that players can get banned for being what is called toxic when it shows to me that admins are trying to bait out this toxic behavior in the first place. even the discord is full of nothing but arguments and salt and it makes me not want to play when I see that an admins can openly spawn themselves in as a mean character but then they get upset at the player base and people get really mad and the admin is never in trouble over it and it is called just salt. This is a game for fun and not a personal admin sand box.

I hope you get the point I am making and sorry for the broken English I am not really one hundred percent sure how to properly word this but i expect it to be ignored :/

You're understandable enough. I've witnessed these behaviors as of late from admins too, taking actions that would get the average player a lengthy ban, or worse, a permaban. It is unclear to me as well just how they haven't been demoted...to me, an admin should be held to higher standards than a player, given their authority and responsibilities on the server.

This sadly is not the case. There are a few admins who seem to attract massive ire to themselves...and in some cases, this is rightly earned ire. The recent complaint against Jade, as an example, for ban baiting, would get any other player a potential ban and a pretty nasty note on their file. What has Jade received in punishment? Nothing, though I will admit that I have no idea if they were spoken to in regards to their actions thus far.

There needs to be more accountability for actions for admins. It may be a position that is a volunteer one, but that does not mean one is immune to criticism and punishment, nor does it mean that one should be unprofessional and, sometimes, downright hostile.

This complaint is way too vague for any action, investigation, etc, to be taken from it.

Are you able to provide any evidence (screenshots, audio, etc) of what you're vaguely describing?

I think he mainly means, players get ahelped for x stuff and punished, but when players ahelp about an admin player nothing happens.

And tbh i feel like i have a side to this too of my own but thats mainly being kevinz and spamming music.

So far i know a few examples or well heard

As always, names are essential in a case like this. A vague 'them' doesn't serve any purpose and makes it look like drama mongering rather than a legitimate complaint.

Perhaps you have missed the recent complaint threads that, so far, seem to largely have been ignored. I see this thread as less about taking a specific action against a specific admin, but asking why issues involving admins are ignored, or rarely resulting in punishment for a given admin. It is not drama mongering, but a legit issue.
