Reason Banned: Suicide as an Changeling

Length Banned: 1 week

Appeal Reason: So I joined this round with a name that I was told wasn't suitable (Dad). I had also rolled changeling. I used the suicide verb to get myself out of game for a moment to get the situation sorted out and since changeling can come back to life, I didn't think it'd matter. I was then banned from antag because you're not supposed to kill yourself as one. I wasn't doing in because I didn't want to play as a changeling, I did it to get out of game so the situation could be addressed first, and as I said, I didn't think it'd be a big deal since changeling can come back to life afterwords.

Two things I'm hung up on with this.
1. How exactly does suiciding help sort the situation out at all?
2. Based on your responses to my questioning about it, you didn't seem to know changeling could come back to life after suiciding, either

I asked in admin chat after the fact: "did you know changelings can regenerate after suicide"
and by suicide, in my mind, I was taking myself out of the game so I could talk it over without distraction, but I do see what you mean, and in afterthought, suicide probably wasn't a very helpful option
