I didn't disconnect whilst talking to him, I told them I needed to leave, and since our conversation had seemed concluded at the time and I had waited three minutes for them to respond I assumed we where done talking. I appreciate mods are busy, I appreciate they can't get back to you immediatly, but if those things lead to someone thinking the conversation is finished and it's okay for them to go, that's not their fault and they shouldn't be banned for it.

Put the given ban reason in, not sure what you're asking for in format though, it seems correct when I compared it to the format asked for.

Currently i'm in favor of not dropping the ban, and I'll explain why. Rule 4 is about fulfilling your role, and it reads as follows: All head roles, antag roles, and to some extent all jobs in science, medical, engineering, supply, and security require a minimum amount of effort. Failing to put in that effort will negatively impact the round for everyone playing. Before you do anything else, you should insure that all of the responsibilities of your department are being accomplished. Although there's not a subpoint for this that explicitly says "don't ghost or suicide out of playing your role, especially as security or command", I don't think ghosting out meets the minimum effort required to play as a warden. In addition, rule 3 covers staying in character, the sixth part specifically covering suiciding (ghosting counts as committing suicide) to avoid punishment, which regardless of your intent is what you did.

The second part, disconnecting during the ticket, was because from what both me and Redtail saw, you disconnected in the middle of the ticket, and were still disconnected when we checked the ticket later on in the round. There's about three minutes from when you sent in a response to when you disconnected.

I am not in favor of lifting this due to the discord convos that were had including the admitting to powergaming and the abrasive attitude you have.

Wait, so you're saying I'm not allowed to quit my role IC? Are you sure that's a rule? I get that I'm supposed to put in a minimum level of effort into my role but surerly if I'm playing with someone who I know is going to make the round unenjoyable for me I'm allowed to leave, right?

Also, I thought we were done with the ticket. I'm happy to continue that conversation with you if you still had more you wanted to say but -perma-banning me for ghosting (Which I didn't know was the same thing as suicide until someone on discord told me) and quiting my job IC seems pretty ridiculious to me.

And yes, I've had an abrasive attitude on discord. It has something to do with being permabanned for not being able to finish a conversation with an admin when I thought we where done and I'd made it clear I wanted to go. If there are issues with my ghosting and not doing my role properly, I'm happy to discuss those (As I'm sure you'd intended to do if I'd realised you still wanted to talk to me), I've already been corrected on the ghosting thing and I'm sure we can figure out anything else, but permabanning seems so way over the top.

You're allowed to quit your job and you're allowed to cryo, but issues start to arise when you quit without returning any job-specific equipment and when you ghost out instead of using cryo.

I only ghosted becuase I was tased and cuffed and didn't see any real opertunity to go a cyro in the near future, and I really didn't want to have to RP with the person who had tased and cuffed me. I also thought that going into cyro deleted my gear alongside my character so I didn't think gear would be an issue

You don't decide what's powergaming. You admitting to making a deadmanswitched chloral grenade every ground is admitting to powergaming because we've determined that to be powergaming and we're calling it as such.. Please use some sense.
