I already had this all written out and when I clicked on preview it logged me out and ate everything haha kill me.

Reason Banned: Issued a final warning to tone down their power gaming as doctor wanted to play as EMT and begged for chem aces. when they were declined they quit medical and proceeded to greyshirt around to make their own medical which got them arrested. This is apparently not the first time they've behaved this way. Additionally warned to tone down their shitty IC and OOC attitude towards fellow players. If you're alerted or observe them powergaming or acting in a very poor manner towards admins or players don't be afraid to apply a ban on the spot.

Appeal Reason:
I'll go through this in stages as the note addresses multiple points.
1) I asked for full medbay access or if not willing to give that much just chemistry access, aswell as Maint and a title change to EMT. I got Viro and Genetics. I asked to be made an assistant instead. I don't consider this begging.
2) After the job change I broke into tech storage, took the chem master + dispenser board aswell as the Autolathe board (for machine parts so I don't have to carry everything from cargo, beakers and syringes etc.) I built the stuff in the art room on pubby, outside sec and far away from medbay. Security of course noticed, talked to me and said a public chemlab is no bueno, which is reasonable so I offered to relocate. They asked me to just change the access on the door. While I was working on the door, the CMO offered me a job as chemist, since one left to Cryo earlier. I (very rudely) declined. The CMO broke in and started trying to move the machines, I tried getting him out and security arrested me. When I got out I childishly insulted him on the radio. Some other crewmember engaged me in conversation and, over time, managed to calm me down a bit. I went to the HoP and talked about the refusal to change job titles in general, in a more reasonable manner.
This is the first time I quit a job and tried to have a ghetto chemlab over this. It's not the first time I got angry over not being allowed to do my EMT gimmick, but it is the worst incident. The round before that I died really early and was dead until shortly before shuttle call, and before that round I was refused aswell. So I got kinda pissy being unable to play the game in a way I enjoy for the third time in a row. That doesn't excuse me being a cunt though and I apologize again here, as I already did in the ahelp (to no benefit to the CMO there); I'm just mentioning this to give some perspective, I am only a human aswell and can get carried away by dumb things.
3) I don't consider having tools (not in the note but you mentioned it in the ahelp) or chemistry access as EMT powergaming, at all. MDs already have access to the newly added apothecary on other stations, so they can make drugs anyway. The apothecary just lacks a heater. Pubby lacks this altogether though. Aside from that, often I feel somewhat obligated to stock the empty fridge with some essentials when I mix my EMT meds, as chemists on average either can't or don't want to do this, in my experience. In that particular round, chemistry blew up not once but twice due to chemist incompetence.
I could practically circumvent this by just rolling chemist and then fucking off and doing my thing, with my access given to me by my role at roundstart and just ask for maint access to get around better, but then I'd take up one of the two job slots and steal it from somebody who might want to play a fulltime chemist and I'd rather take up one of the many many MD slots to do this and ask for chemistry access.
Asking around most people are in agreement that this isn't powergaming, with some offering the caveat that people should at least start dying or the alert be on not green and only a few saying it is powergaming.
On that note, if this is powergaming, then so is rushing the primary tool storage at roundstart. Something that almost all assistants and a fair deal of people with other jobs do. Or HoS asking for all access at roundstart, which is granted most of the time by the Captain, and I know at least one admin who also grants this as Captain because I've gotten it, after seeing someone else getting it and figuring it wasn't too bad of an idea to ask.

Notes exist as a a document of behavior and admin corrective action taken against some one. Im not open to the idea of appealing, of all things, a note. No.

Building your own chemistry lab because the HoP wouldn't give you chemistry access IS powergaming. Even if it wasn't, at most I'd only support editing the note to remove the mention of it. If you've gotten to the point that people are noticing poor attitude both IC and OOC, you should probably take that as a hint and improve said behavior.

Overall, I do not support your note appeal.

Was sec officer this round. Saw the chem dispenser,chem master and autolathe setup at the art storage. Told them it's dangerous to public safety to have a public chem dispenser where everyone can access it, get called fun police per usual, told them if they had permission or medical access, should change the airlock permission to chemistry. She proceeded to do so until CMO arrived and told me she had no such permissions and wanted the dispensers moved to chemistry. We agreed and moved the machines. The arrest was set by HoS later, don't remember the reasoning but probably for taking boards without permission.
