[Geemiesif] Desminus - Main, banned for breaking rule 0 and rule 8

Ban reason: (copy paste) Banned for one week for rule 0 stealing items from the hotel while there was staff and rule 8 self-antag for poor escalation in attacking the hotel staff for trying to stop their stealing.

Your side of the story: What had occured during the altercation was me and the character known as Hera had came to the 'hotel' as i later found out. This was my first time really space tiding, so i didnt know that this was a ghost role spawner area and until i had found both forrest and the hotel guard in question. When i met him not thinking it was an actual protected area, was "hey found any good loot" still not knowing what was going on. Forrest had said the other man was hostile so im already thinking "oh So this other guy is someone who's potentially going to kill us" This lead into my next question asking in character and being a genuine question for me ooc, "does he work here". So when i go forward from here still not knowing much about ghost roles, im just thinking okay so forrest here is atleast from the station so i should be able to trust him more then the person who's role i still have no knowledge of. walked up towards forrest with his baton out, then forrest disarmed him and got a stun. which lead to me helping in the assault which in hindsight was a bad idea. I reeled back in the end and looked around. Some time had passed to which i was walking around exploring it, and i had wanted to leave, and didnt know the exit, so i was going break through, this lead to the guard saying im crazy and he's worried, so i threw him into the teleporter, to the station so he can get treated, not be hurt by the hull breach and the like.

Why you think you should be unbanned: I would first like to state my upmost apologies. I understand that i couldve handle the entire situation much better and will do so in the future. I am not asking for a full unban, but simply having my ban reduced, because i understand i did act like a shitter and do deserve a slapping for it. However, i didnt steal anything from there, the supplies and the like i did not end up taking. Rule 8 i agree part was poor escalating and part me not understanding the situation fully which i should do in the future, since i didnt know that they were stealing and the hotel staff was trying to stop them. I was not near to hear the full story and came upon it mid way. Thank you for your time and I will hope for you lenience and am willing to make a personal apology to the player in question.

Given the nature of the situation and the smaller part you played in it, I would support reducing this to 1-3 days.
