From what I've seen you've kept close tabs on github at minimum in terms of outside community interaction, made some contributions there, and otherwise been around on the server as the main requirement. I think you got the right mind for the server and perhaps can help be a leader with the rest of us.
And hey, everyone has a temper. What's important though is to avoid toxicity while running that temper. Something even I need to work on at times I suppose.
