In the case of applying for a species, give us a brief summary of your character's backstory. This should give us an idea that you understand the lore of the species: Kyatchktak worked tirelessly on considered dangerous weapons technologies for they're ark-ship the "Arkship Silent in Waiting for New Sun, Launch Watch War Trade Long Find Many Star Watch Quiet" and as his experiments began to work on bio-integrated weapons, sacrificing many an Apex, he began to worry he would soon be killed. After causing a distraction with a supposed "test" he took the chance to flee to a nearby station but were caught in the act. His leg was severed and a poor act of Pariah was given, though it was not as effective as it normally would be and he was ejected just where he was wanting to be. He single-handedly told his capturers how to repair him and after several years had taught this small mining outpost several improvements they could make, becoming very high ranking in the industry, enough to get noticed by a hiring agent of NanoTrasen.

Summarize the species. As evidence that you've looked into it: The Vox are split into four subspecies: The Primalis who are the drones, The Armalis, the warriors, The Apex, the leaders, and the Auralis, the scientists. They dislike many and are disliked by many as such. They're usually leeches that fear a higher threat than themselves. Scaled and birdlike with hard beaks and quills on their heads and they breathe phoron.
