In the case of applying for a species, give us a brief summary of your character's backstory. This should give us an idea that you understand the lore of the species: 
Kory was a Human born on luna. in his schooling's he excelled in biology and genetics and eventually decided to become a Xenobioligist, he studied At mariner university on mars and eventually found a job working on a deep space science station cataloging samples, while working there he failed to follow proper safety wear regulations while handling hazardous samples, and a malfunctioning machine sprayed him with a mutagenic substance causing him to slowly turn into a Xenomorph-hybrid. he was subdued and sedated by station security and locked in a cell and experimented and tested on while he underwent his changes. after concluding their research he was frozen in a cryogenic cell for nearly forty years. when the company he worked for and it's assets were eventually purchased by nanotrasen. he was found and released from cryo and after being deemed safe and mostly still human in mind. he was offered a place in the new company doing work for Nanotrasen and was shipped off to virgo. Kory is fairly nervous and seclusive. afraid to hurt or scare anyone with his larger and dangerous form and often keeping to himself in corners of rooms. his new form and instincts make him fairly clumbsy and awkward when doing tasks or moving, often having trouble manipulating small objects. his body still undergoes small changes and mutations and his memory of his life before he was changed is somewhat muddy.

Summarize the species. As evidence that you've looked into it: Xxenomorphs are a dangerous parasitic hive minded species with acid blood and much of their bodies being weapons designed to hunt hosts. Xenomorph hybrids have been made in various ways usually removing or curbing their most dangerous aspects, acidic blood, neurotoxin glands, and ability to lay eggs containing facehuggers or larvae removed. their bladed tails and sharp claws dulled to a rounded edge and access to the hive mind removed. but retaining the chitin plates and stronger body, and the ability to create small amounts of resin.
