In the case of applying for a species, give us a brief summary of your character's backstory. This should give us an idea that you understand the lore of the species:
A Phoronoid from Boron, they volunteered for NanoTrasen work to help research Phoron and the related studies in an attempt to understand more about the Phoronoid condition. They were also curious for the opportunity to see the various alien races aboard the Triumph and observe their culture. Their name was adopted from a strange infatuation with Iridium and a need for easy identification.
Summarize the species. As evidence that you've looked into it: Basically they are the product of phoron being like asbestos but worse and causing mutations in the victims of an alien race. The phoron crystalizes around their body and their body is fucked up. Due to this their lifestyle is changed greatly and they are forced to live in a phoron environment or face fatal consequences. Their native civilization and its culture was eventually lost with time, due to the negative effects of phoron. They see their precursors on Boron as a holy thing, and refuse to let others interfere with it. NanoTrasen and co. still recruit them via interspecies exchange.
What do you expect to happen if you use this race/job to violate any of the server rules?:
