Meanwhile their neighbors, the Vikara Combine, engage in a more deliberate campaign of development spanning the central Perseus Arm. Composed of several client species, including the Skrell, Teshari, and Akula, the Vikara Combine serves as a steadfast ally to the Orion Confederation. Past the Galactic Center to the North, the Moghes Hegemony dominates the Sagittarius Arm. A mere thirty years ago, Confederation and Combine forces warred with the Hegemony to prevent encroachments into claimed Vikara space.
