The room

The Engine room consists off:

  1. Engine chamber, the interior is 5 by 5 tiles, framed with heat resistant glass and reinforced walls.
  2. A controll bay, housing the three consoles needed to controll the reactor and the fuel compressor.
  3. A dual TEG setup, already hooked up to the loops.
  4. Injection and Extraction ports, allowing to pump gases into and out of the loops.
  5. Radiatior connections, where the cold loop is cooled.
The mapped engine room

Very simple very basic setup

This is a baseline guide to make sure the shift doesnt go without power, and the engine doesnt explode. Any engineer that know their way around engineering mechanics will tell you that this setup is not very good. It is important that the no hazard steps are finished before any other steps are completed.

No hazard steps:

    1. Go into chamber, button to unbolt is near the door.
    2. Maximise the injectors in the chamber.
    3. Leave and lock the chamber again
    4. Maximise Cold loop pump in the (north western/aft port/upper left) corner
    5. Use the fuel compressor to create two deuterium fuel rods
    6. Place one of the rods each into a fuel injectors at the chamber

Minimal Atmospheric hazard:

    1. Pump two canisters of Phoron into the cold loop
    2. Pump two canisters of N2O into the hot loop, dont use Phoron here!

Radiation Hazard:

    1. Maximise the engine SMES(the one on the aft/left/west) in the smes room
    2. Set the field strength in on the rust controll console
    3. Start injection with the fuel injectors
    4. Start the gyrotrons
    5. Set the gyrotrons to delay 1
    6. Set the gyrotrons to power 1

Engine set!

  1. Max input out put on the Main SMES in the SMES room
