Explanation
This page is meant to provide a collection of standing Head Administration rulings on contentious or otherwise vague disputes. The rulings below are meant to be supplementary to the Server Rules, and exist to address niche concerns only. They do not supersede the broader bounds of the Server or Global Rules. This page will be updated whenever a ruling on certain issues comes down from the Head Administration.

IC CNC (Consenting Non Consent) Policy
Citadel RP generally allows erotic role play between two consenting parties without restriction. However, the contentious topic of consensual non-consent, hereafter referred to as CNC, requires clarification.
Definition: In this context, CNC is considered to be any scene where a character is unable or unwilling to consent to the interaction - either genuinely or as an act - but the OOC player behind the character is both able and willing to consent.
- In any scene where all parties consent Out of Character to engage in ERP, both in-game or via another method (ie, via third party chat program), the resulting scene cannot be reported to Security after the fact as if an actual IC crime has been committed.
- If either party revokes or did not initially grant consent, regardless of the scene’s original CNC status, the matter should be reported immediately to Staff, and may be treated as an actual IC crime – failure to secure consent for ERP is a Server Rule violation and will result in a ban.
- When conducing CNC scenes in-game, the usage of Subtle or Anti-Ghost is requested, but not required.
