Welcome!

The Standard Operating Procedures included in this set of documents serve as the standard installation directives for most of Nanotrasen's frontier holdings. It is expected to be upheld where reasonable by Nanotrasen crew - and to be respected by guests to such a facility, installation, or ship.

Expectations

It is expected for all Nanotrasen employees to know any general directives relevant to their installation.
It is expected for departmental staff to know their own operational directives.
Departmental staff are not expected to memorize the directives of other departments. However, they will be held liable for any breaches if they choose to intentionally perform duties outside of their rank and allowances.
It may be pertinent for installation staff to keep a copy of standard paperwork templates on hand for any official proceedings.

Enforcement

It is the duty of Internal Affairs Agents as well as the Head of Personnel (where available/applicable) to oversee directive adherence. Complaints should be brought up as needed, and the installation's command station faxed in cases of severe violations, or command-staff deadlock.

Standard operating procedures are not Policy/Corporate Regulations. It is not security's duty to enforce them, unless the offending party happens to be breaking a regulation; in this case, it would usually be "Failure to Execute an Order", if someone is offending in belligerence of their superior's directives.
